AI-Powered Adaptive Difficulty Game

This game has been developed as part of a Bachelor's thesis titled:

Developing an AI-powered game level difficulty adjustment model.

The objective of this project is to design and evaluate a dynamic difficulty adjustment (DDA) system that utilizes real-time gameplay data and machine learning techniques to personalize the game experience for each player.

About the Game

This is a data-driven quiz game that integrates an AI model to adaptively adjust the difficulty level based on player performance metrics such as:

Reaction time

Answer correctness

Current difficulty level

The model leverages a Random Forest Regressor that continuously learns from player inputs to predict and recommend suitable difficulty levels, aiming to maintain optimal challenge and engagement.

Install instructions

3. Run the file named main.exe to start the game.
